  • If you feel that your grief and loss is consuming you to the point where you are not enjoying parts of your life that you used to, its a good time to talk to someone.   • Grief and loss is an individualized experience. One that you may never be "over." Many well-meaning people in your life may feel that your grief journey is prolonged or move on from asking you about it or providing support, but only you are on the solo journey of coping for life.

  • Absolutely! Children need just the same if not more support that adults need to process grief and loss. Sometimes they can make it look like they have moved on quicker because of their ability to get back to regularly scheduled activities, but kids are often less able to vocalize feelings surrounding loss and therapy can help with this immensely.
